Edinburgh ecommerce is shaped by three things: whisky, knitwear and a deep heritage brand bench. The result is a city where the SEO brief looks different. UK organic still matters, but for most Edinburgh brands the bigger opportunity is international, US, EU, APAC and increasingly the Middle East. Premium ecommerce has its own search behaviour. The consideration cycle is longer. Buyers research deeply across regions, distilleries, materials, provenance, year, batch, edition, weave. They consult guides, rankings and editorial coverage before they convert. PDPs that work for £40 fashion do not convert for £400 cashmere or £150 whisky.
