Our story
James started ClutchSEO in 2019 after a decade running organic for DTC brands and Shopify Plus stores. The frustration was simple. Most SEO agencies treat a £4m homeware brand the same way they treat a SaaS startup or a local plumber.
Ecommerce SEO is its own discipline. Collection architecture, faceted navigation, schema, Core Web Vitals on theme-bloated stores, programmatic content for product variants. None of it gets covered properly by generalists.
Five years on, the team has grown to nine people. Every one of us has shipped Shopify or WooCommerce work. We turn down briefs we're not the right fit for, and we keep client lists small on purpose.
